Student Chapters

The desire to achieve, to develop professionalism, to organize, to build, to relate academia and business - all come together in forming, maintaining and developing student chapters.

Nowhere are these factors joined with more creativity, ingenuity and energy than by students, faculty advisors and IMA Chapter members! These traits or characteristics, which really spell DESIRE, are more important, especially on the American campus, than any set of rules or regulations.

Some principal advantages of student chapters are:

1. They enhance the students educational experiences by exposing them to business and business people currently working in the accounting field;

2. They help students develop their own potential and socialize with other students in the same major field

3. A large number of student members enroll

4. The group conducts its own membership drive and increases the number continuing to associate membership
